Sellia Crystal Tunnels are an optional boss in cheap Elden Ring runes, but they contain a couple of interesting items that you might want to get your hands on before you defeat them. Access to this dungeon can be gained from the beginning of Elden Ring, with Dragonburnt Ruins serving as the location of a trapped chest that teleports you to this location. As you begin your journey through The Lands Between, the enemies you encounter can be particularly ruthless.

However, unless you intend to flee with an item, it is best to attempt to face this dungeon when you are significantly higher in level than you would be if you were just starting out in Limgrave. The Fallingstar Beast proves to be a formidable adversary for the party. Solving the problem of Sellia Crystal Tunnels
It is intended that you approach Sellia Crystal Tunnels through its natural entrance, rather than through the trapped chest in Limgrave, for the purposes of this guide. If you travel north of Sellia, to the Town of Sorcery in Caelid, you will find an entrance to the tunnels, which is depicted on the map below.
Take the Site of Grace and proceed straight up the ladder that is in front of you. The following area is densely populated with crystal miners and other insect-like adversaries of various kinds. Many of the miners will not attack unless they are provoked, so it is best to leave them alone for the time being.
The insect enemies in this area are much more difficult to deal with, and they are capable of launching some extremely damaging ranged attacks against you. Consequently, you’ll want to avoid these individuals at all costs, and if you are alerted, you’ll want to avoid their attacks at all costs.
With this in mind, you should concentrate your efforts on eliminating insect enemies before tackling the miners. Climb the rocky outcroppings ahead of you and clear the area of insect adversaries.
You can now proceed with clearing the crystal miners from the area. In addition to Smithing Stone (5) and Cracked Crystal along the tunnel walls, there will be a Golden Rune to collect as well.
If you’re anything like me when it comes to platforming in cheap Elden Ring Runes PS, the next step may prove to be a little difficult. You will need to jump from the ground to the roof of the wooden cabin shown below after climbing up the rocky mounds. A chest containing a large number of Gravity Stone Fans and Gravity Stone Chunks can be found within this particular wooden structure.
To obtain multiple Cuckoo Glintstone from the corpse, jump from the roof to the beam on your left, which is accessible from the roof. You should be able to safely jump down and proceed into the next section of the tunnels, but you should be cautious of enemies once more.
Make your way ahead, kill the opposition, and take the Somber Smithing Stone (4) from the corpse above you.
Return to the spot where you were before (where the beam with the Cuckoo Glintstone was) and take a look at the buildings in front of you. There are more enemies to deal with here (one of whom drops Somber Smithing Stone 4) as well as a ladder along the edge of the building ahead that needs to be avoided.
To begin, enter the building on the right and open the chest to retrieve Rock Blaster from its location in the basement. Then climb up the ladder and use your foot to knock the second ladder down next to it. From a corpse in the next room, you can loot 1x Dragonwound Grease. In addition, there are three insect enemies to contend with.
Once you’ve cleared the area of enemies, you’ll be able to obtain the Canvas Talisman of the Faithful. Moreover, don’t forget to look at the walls of the tunnels, as there will be more Smithing Stones and Cracked Crystals to be found here.
Now, up ahead, you’ll see a gate that will take you directly to the Fallingstar Beast of Sellia Crystal Tunnels. Go through it.
How to Survive and Thrive in the Sellia Crystal TunnelsBeast of Fallingstar
Face-to-face combat with the Fallingstar Beast is a difficult task in Elden Ring runes, and it is recommended that you are at least Level 60 before attempting this fight.
This four-legged adversary is incredibly fast, they hit hard, and they don’t appear to be giving you any breaks at all during the fight. If you want to win this fight, you’ll probably want to use Spirit Ashes to gain some aggro. Also, keep in mind that the Beast’s head is their weak spot.
The Beast has some extremely annoying attacks, but fortunately, they don’t have a wide variety of attacks for you to learn and memorize as you progress through the game. Whenever they charge at you, you have no choice but to dodge and flee as quickly as possible. They will usually perform this charged attack three times before burrowing their heads into the ground. Make use of this as an opportunity to attack the Beast’s head, and then flee as quickly as possible – don’t become greedy.
While it may be tempting to rally behind the Beast and turn the tables on them, the Beast’s spiny tail is not merely a decorative feature. In many cases, they’ll use this to launch an all-out assault, and if you’re unfortunate enough to be caught in the crossfire, this attack may be fatal..
The temptation to dodge through the tail swipe attack is strong – and it does work – but it is much safer to dodge and flee from each of the Beast’s attacks individually instead. As is true of most fights in , patience is required in order to bring down the Beast and escape alive. It can be difficult to maintain your composure when this rocky monstrosity is on your tail, however.
A second phase will be initiated by the Fallingstar Beast once you have depleted half of their health. The moves in this second phase are largely the same as they were in the first, albeit a little faster. Aside from that, the Beast now has the force of gravity working in its favor. If you don’t flee when the purple mist appears, you will be struck by a devastating gravity attack that will deal both physical and magical damage to you.
During the second phase, if you haven’t summoned anything yet, this is the best time to do so. Because the Beast is faster than you, you’ll most likely want someone else to take the initiative. At this point in the game, the Jellyfish Spirit Ashes are your best bet, as they’re the most effective at dealing a lot of damage while also slowly poisoning your opponents. Unfortunately, there is no way to cheese the Beast, and thus defeating him will require nothing more than sheer willpower and determination on your part. Once you’ve gotten used to his mediocre moveset and the second phase of the battle, you’ll know what to expect, when to dodge, and how to take the Fallingstar Beast down to his knees in no time.
It drops the Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing (1), multiple Gravity Stone Chunks, Somber Smithing Stone (6), and the Smithing Stone (7) when it is defeated.
